Panic(cpu 1 caller 0xfffffff024464bc0): "i2c2::_checkBusStatus Bus is still in a bad state last read status 00010100 int shadow 00010100 xfer 00000000 fifo 00000000 for device audio-codec-output" The error doesn't occur every time I move a file.Īny ideas on what's going on or what I should do to troubleshoot? Other fixes I've tried: restart, closing all programs, running diagnostics (ie, restart and hold down D) which wouldn't start up after I selected the wifi channel (error -2006D). I have no peripherals attached at all (only my charger is plugged in, directly to the wall).Įvery time I get the kernel panic, it always says something about the audio output, so I've tried keeping the laptop on mute and that hasn't fixed it. I have Dropbox installed on my computer and access it through the Finder.

I'm not sure if it's relevant, but when this occurs I'm always moving files around either within, into, or out of my Dropbox (my entire file system is in Dropbox, so that's the only way I move files around).

My MacBook Pro 15" (2017, Big Sur 11.6) keeps crashing when I move files, and I get a kernel panic report every time I get it started back up (copy/pasted below).
