Most are purple/pink with a blue edging, but some may have more golden highlights. The rainbow plating on these pins creates a wide range of colour variety. Paleontologists now know that Microraptor had glossy iridescent plumage, similar to a modern starling! So I decided to make this pin have a similar oil-slick finish. Some of those trees would have been ginkgo - a “living fossil” popular today for its unusual leaves.
